How a sentence gets on the page
Editorial policy
Last checked 2026-10-23. Facts below cite a source.
Each page answers one question. The home page answers “what is this search result?” The release-date page answers “when?” The download page answers “where is the file?” We do not merge those into a single thin post, and we do not add a page just to catch a spelling.
A fact about a version, a price, a file size, a platform, or a date needs a page we opened and a date we opened it. On this version of the site that date is 23 Oct 2026 unless a sentence names an older source date, such as a trailer upload.
What we will not write as fact
- A platform Big Kid Nation has not named. Steam, Switch, and mobile are not on their public pages.
- A day inside December 2026. The site gives a month for the public beta.
- A roster count of 24, 718, or 1,000+ attached to Big Kid Nation. Those numbers belong to other games, and the larger ones are self-reported.
- “Safe APK.” We did not inspect a binary. We only identified the package name.
- A claim that we played a full gym run. First-person notes say what that session actually included.
Quotes and screenshots
Developer sentences stay in quotation marks and keep their source URL. Screenshots from bigkidnation.com are labeled with that credit. Browser screenshots are labeled with the site and the capture date. We do not slice art out of our own layout mockups and present it as gameplay.
We link to the operator of a game, not to a repost. Competitor articles are cited when we are correcting them, with rel attributes that do not pass our endorsement along as a ranking.
Corrections and freshness
The release-date page is re-checked on a two-week cadence, including weeks when the status is unchanged. A new trailer or a named platform is updated when we can verify it, not when a social post repeats it.
Send corrections to [email protected]. The same address is on the contact page. We do not run a closed list of sources. If you are the developer and a sentence is wrong, write with the page URL and we will compare it to your site.
The first-person lines on this site are the checks I did on 23 Oct 2026: reading the developer pages, the itch.io devlog, the vote page, and the browser menu I captured. They are not a review score.

Questions
Do you take review scores?
No. We do not publish a rating for the unreleased project, and we do not copy Empress’s 4.7 score into a star widget.
How do I get a correction in?
Email [email protected] with the URL, the sentence, and the source that contradicts it. If we agree, the page date changes.
