Pokemon Arena 2D roster: confirmed, seen, and still voting

Last checked 2026-10-23. Facts below cite a source.

I read the vote page on 23 Oct 2026. It needs JavaScript, and voting itself is limited to people on the confirmed mailing list. Each person has 3 votes. Results are archived per round; the privacy page says so.

The list can be filtered by all generations or by generation 1 through 9, with an A–Z index. I am not going to publish a species count from that filter, because the filter is the ballot, not the roster.

Seen in the developer’s own stills

Screenshot alt text on the site names Lapras on the ice path, Gyarados on grass, and Charizard with Pikachu on stone, plus Pikachu by the crater. Seeing a creature in a trailer still is not the same as a champion slot. I am keeping those in a separate list.

Other write-ups say Jolteon, Blastoise, and Mewtwo appear in a trailer. I did not confirm those frame by frame, so they stay off the confirmed list.

Lucario appeared in the public current-round vote data checked on 23 Oct 2026, but had not won a round. Vote totals and the poll state can change.

Charizard is a round-2 champion and also appears in this still with Pikachu. Screenshot: Big Kid Nation, bigkidnation.com, checked 23 Oct 2026.

Gyarados is in the site’s grass still. That is a sighting, not a vote result I recorded. Screenshot: Big Kid Nation, bigkidnation.com, checked 23 Oct 2026.

Questions

Is Lucario confirmed?

Not as of 23 Oct 2026. The public vote API listed Lucario among the current round’s entries, but only round champions are confirmed for the beta.

How many are confirmed?

The site confirms each round’s champion for the beta. I could verify two champions: Greninja (round 1) and Charizard (round 2). Round 3 was still open, closing 24 Oct 2026 at 10:00 Singapore time.

Is the roster 24, 718, or 1,000+?

None of those numbers are Big Kid Nation’s. 24 is the .online browser game. 718 is eggieflip’s June devlog. 1,000+ forms is Empress, self-reported.
