What the .online page says a match is
- Both sides act in real time. Moves have a startup, a range, a cooldown, and PP.
- The dodge is a pass through the hit, not a step aside. The page says the frames are fully invincible.
- Cover can break. Wood, metal, ice, and stone have different durability by type.
- Each map has two mirrored reward zones. Standing about a second can restore PP, heal, cleanse, refresh a cooldown, or boost dodge or speed.
- Type math is still there: STAB 1.5×, super-effective 2×, resisted 0.5×, immunity 0, plus crits and stat stages.
- You lose if all three faint. If time expires, the side with more Pokémon left wins. A match is about a minute and a half.
On the menu screenshot I saved, the footer reads “WASD MOVE & AIM · 1-4 ATTACK · SPACE DODGE · Q/E SWITCH · ESC MENU.” I did not finish a gym. I am not going to invent a clear time or a team that won. The title screen in the same capture showed version 1.0.
poke2darena is the one I would open for a friend, because it has public rooms, room codes, and invite links. It does not have the eight-gym story. Its switch key is R. If a guide tells you Q/E on that site, it copied the other build.

Questions
Are these the Big Kid Nation controls?
No. That project has no control page and no public beta. These keys belong to two browser games.
Does it work on a phone?
Both browser pages describe touch controls. The .online page says a landscape screen is better. I did not retest every gesture on a handset.
Do I need an account?
The .online page says no account and no download, with progress in localStorage. poke2darena uses room links for online matches.
